 PTA Mission Statement

Commitment, collaboration, and creativity are the three words that best describe Good Counsel’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Parents and teachers join Good Counsel’s PTA to foster a mutual understanding and appreciation of the ideals of Catholic Education. This is an opportunity where parents can actively participate to advance their children’s education and enhance their social, religious, intellectual, and physical development.

Socials. Raffles, Funwalk, Fashion Show, Casino Night – Good Counsel’s PTA offers “something for everyone” and always builds in family participation and fun! A primary goal of the PTA is to provide financial support to Our Lady of Good Counsel School.

The PTA has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for many school improvements, updated technology, new books, and other items for our children.

There’s always “something to do for everyone” because there are so many opportunities to get involved and make a positive contribution. Parent involvement makes a key difference and shows children the value of working together toward common goals. Getting involved is easy! Chairpersons head each event or function and can be contacted through their personal e-mail.
