Teachers Assistants (Preschool/Kindergarten) – Teacher Assistants are needed for preschool/kinder classrooms. Hours are flexible and vary from week to week. High school diploma and experience with young children preferred. OLGC requires its employees to be living a life of Christian role models. Substitute Teachers – Elementary and Upper School – Substitutes for K through 8th grade classes are needed.  Certified teachers with a degree are preferred.  Minimum of 60 credits required.  OLGC requires its employees to be living a life of Christian role models. Maintenance/Custodian – Part-Time — We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. You will collaborate with workers and other professionals during the renovations of selected areas. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities Daily Duties

  • Performing “daily” cleaning activities including all classrooms space, conference rooms, kitchen areas, office, and school bathrooms

  • Remove trash from all office and classroom areas

  • Daily sweeping of the school, dusting, glass cleaning

  • Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks or doors

  • Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues replace lighting as needed

  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs

  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)

  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)

  • Troubleshooting of alarm sensors for all entrances

  • Outside Maintenance of front entrance areas and lobby
